Lighthouses 18, Anchors 12
The Lighthouses notched their first win of the season this week. Brody Smith passed a touchdown to Teagan Joles for the 6-0 lead. However, the Anchors’ Calvin Gray tossed a score of his own to Jaxon Lewis to even the score at the half. In the second half, Riley Pruey passed to Jaxon for the 12-6 lead. The Lighthouse defense did not allow another score and their offense tied the game up in regulation on another Brody to Teagan score. Both defenses played well throughout the game. The Anchors’ Gabriel McKinney and Izayah Vilagi deflected several passes. The Lighthouses’ Alexander Santana and Brayden McCarthy each played great defense. In overtime, Brody threw a game-winning touchdown to Wilkin Santana to finish the regular season on a high note.
Sails 6, Beacons 6
The Sails and Beacons were evenly matched throughout the contest. Declan Bright scored the only touchdown for the Beacons on an interception return in the first half. The Sails’ offense scored when Cooper Hambor scrambled away from a Sails blitz for the running score. The Beacons’ defense held tight and did not allow the Sails to convert. Both teams played strong defense in the second half. For the Beacons, Declan, Mathew Wank, Gannon Michalski, Daniel Braun, and Kavryn Koran did not allow a score in the second half. The Sails’ Liam Vale and Mitch McGuire played strong defense of their own and prevented any scores. The Sails and Beacons displayed resiliency by playing into four overtimes before recording the tie game to conclude the regular season.

Admirals 20, Navigators 6
The Admirals earned their second win of the regular season with an impressive display of offense and defense. The Admirals started the scoring with an Aidan Coulter pass to Peyton Kallay. The same duo converted the point after touchdown for the 7-0 lead. After strong defense by Kacen Koran and Bryce Gillispie, Aidan threw another score, this time to Bryce. Aidan converted to Peyton Wilson for the 14-0 advantage. In the second half, Aidan again connected with Bryce for the score. Domanick Fletcher and Ben Fazekas played great defense in the first three quarters. The Navigator offense surged in the fourth quarter and scored on a Liam Greene to Evan Murphy touchdown. On the next play, Ben Allen intercepted an Admiral pass. Time expired before the Navigators could score again. The Navigators’ defense stepped up in the second half with help from Julia Allen, Vinny Phelps, Vinnie Catri, Channing Delgado, and Matteo Alvarez.
Captains 13, Mariners 12
This matchup did not disappoint. The Captains’ Eric McCulley intercepted a Mariner pass on the first drive and on the next play he threw a long touchdown pass to Kameron Leftwic for the 6-0 lead. Eric found Cale Milliman in the endzone to convert the point after touchdown. The Mariners’ resiliency proved to be strong when Connor Englebrecht intercepted a pass of his own and returned it for the score and tied the game. Zackary Haynes connected with Tyson Sherwood for the 12-6 lead. Both defenses held tight throughout the third quarter, led by the Captains’ Isaac Gray, Brooke Pruey, and Chloe Pruey. The Mariners’ Mitch Bukovac, Andrew Butterfield, and Cole Clair played well on defense. The Captains scored at the end of the game when Eric hit Kameron for the game winning touchdown. The Captains finished the regular season on an exciting win while the Mariners look to respond to their only loss in a great season.
