Camden Metcalf found the endzone twice in the first half for the Anchors. Metcalf truly shined on defense grabbing 5 interceptions for the Anchors, four in the first half alone. Blake Toivonen and Nico Bustos both passed for touchdowns before halftime. Calvin Gray had a critical flag pull to prevent a score in the first while Andre Pearson snatched an interception in the same quarter for the Beacons. Alex Bustos reached the end zone in even numbered quarters for the Beacons, ending regulation play with a tied score. The teams battled defensively for seven overtime rounds before Wesley Henderson pulled down a pass to give the Anchors the win.

Carlos Rodriguez racked up the majority of the Lighthouse’s points this week with a touchdown in the first quarter and a Pick-6 and extra point in the second. Daniel Braun threw the touchdown pass in the first before finding the endzone himself in the fourth. The Sails got on the scoreboard with a Jaxon Lewis Pick-6 in the third quarter. Liam Vale added to solid defensive play with a last second flag pull in the third to prevent a Lighthouse touchdown.

Admirals (Maroon) 12
Christian Dodd found the endzone in the final seconds of the first quarter to put the Admirals on the scoreboard. Kacen Koran scored for the Admirals in the fourth on a pass from Ben Fazekas. Channing Mitchell and Conner Englebrecht both had Pick-6s for the Navigators. Englebrecht also had two completions for touchdowns after finding the endzone himself in the first. Mitchell scored on the offensive side in the third along with Cale Milliman. Milliman also had an extra point reception and a last chance flag pull to prevent an Admirals score. Cole Clair had a hot arm with a touchdown pass in the first and an extra point completion in the third.

Max Valencia connected with Isaac Gray in the first quarter for the Mariners’ only score in an uphill battle this week. Jayden Moehnert bookended the game with touchdowns, the first on a pass from Kyle Pena. Pena also had an interception in the second quarter. The third quarter saw Peyton Wilson score on a Pick-6 and Micah Loggins add 7 points in two plays with a touchdown and extra point.
